December 1

Update your Facebook Page with a seasonal timeline cover.  Try a different look each week! Jazz up your website, social media profiles, logo, and emails for the holidays as well.

Have your online gift guide or gift giving tips ready to help your customers find the perfect gift.


Monday, December 4

Send your holiday cards to clients. If you are hosting a special holiday event, mail or email your invitations now.

If you have not done it already, order your holiday gifts and have them delivered no later than the second week of December.

December 4th is also National Cookie Day.  If you who own a store or have clients coming to your office, have cookies available for your customers or clients to enjoy on this day.  Take pictures and post them on your social media profiles (make sure to get your customers’ authorization beforehand.)

If you do not have a brick and mortar, deliver a box of cookies to your clients, they will love this sweet surprise.


December 6: Saint Nicholas Day

Have a tree decorating party in your office; record your holiday greeting video. Don’t forget to take a picture of your staff and post it on your Facebook page. Promote photo-taking with Santa in your store or office if appropriate.

Are you actively involved in your community?  Promote your community involvement or support on your website, blog and social networking sites.

You can also invite your clients and followers to participate with your organization.  Send a Press Release with pictures of the December events that you participated (or will participate) in.


December 12: National Poinsettia Day

Spread the poinsettia love! Give away free poinsettias to show your appreciation. Take pictures and post them on your social media profiles. #NationalPoinsettiaDay

Hanukkah 2017 begins in the evening of Tuesday, December 12 and ends in the evening of Wednesday, December 20.
